1.
Meglio che niente
There was a young woman named Vicky
Who said, ‘I don't want to be picky.
If, in five hours or so
As you say, you must go,
At least we'll have time for a quicky.'
C'era a Torino una ragazza bionda e carina
Che disse, ‘Non voglio sembrare pistina.
Se tra tre ore, come dici tu
Devi tornartene a Viggiù
Avremo appena il tempo di fare una sveltina.‘
2.
In ordine di importanza
Softly seductive young Brenda
Wants a man who is sweet, kind, and tender,
And thoughtful and bright
And sexually right
But mostly a very big spender.
Alla calda, burrosa e seducente Brenda
Piace l'uomo dolce che non si arrenda
Allegro e generoso
Sessualmente focoso,
Ma soprattutto che per lei molto spenda.
3.
L'appetito vien… mangiando
There was a young girl from Sofia
Who succumbed to her lover's desire.
She said, ‘It's a sin,
But now that it's in,
Could you shove it a few inches higher?‘
C'era una vergine di Montemarcello
Che cedette alle voglie del suo bello.
Gli disse, ‘È un peccato
Ma visto che è entrato
Vuoi spingerlo in fondo ‘sto uccello?‘
4.
Triste destino
I sat next to the Duchess at tea;
It was just as I feared it would be:
Her rumblings abdominal
Were truly phenomenal,
And everyone thought it was me!
Al tè capitai alla duchessa vicino:
Compresi subito il mio triste destino:
I suoi rumori di panza
Riempirono la stanza
E tutti dissero: ‘Che porco quel burino!‘
5.
Incontentabile
A comely young widow named Ransom
Was ravished three times in a hansom.
When she cried out for more
A voice from the floor
Said, ‘Lady, I'm simpson, not Samson.'
Una giovane vedova di Crotone
Tre volte fu stuprata in un androne.
Quando chiese un supplemento
Una voce dal pavimento
Disse: ‘Cara, sono Simone, non Sansone.‘
6.
Alla faccia dell'insonnia
There was a young man of Nunhead
Who awoke in his coffin of lead.
‘It's cosy enough',
He remarked in a huff,
‘But I wasn't aware I was dead.'
C'era un giovane di San Miniato
Che si svegliò nella bara sdraiato.
Tirando un bel sospiro
Disse: ‘Ho dormito come un ghiro,
Ma non sapevo di esser spirato.'
7.
L'arte non ha limiti espressivi
There was a young lady named Cager
Who as a result of a wager
Consented to fart
The whole oboe part
Of Mozart's Quartet in F Major.
C'era una donna di nome Tessa
Che in seguito a una scommessa
Riuscì a scoreggiare
Senza mai stonare
Di Bach in si minore la Messa.
8.
Artisti si nasce
A baritone star of Havana
Slipped horribly on a banana;
He was sick for a year
Then resumed his career
As a promising lyric soprano.
Un famoso baritono cubano
Scivolò su una foglia di banano.
Dopo cure amorose
E terapie coraggiose
Riprese con dolce voce da soprano.
9.
Geometria applicata
A lady with feature cherubic
Was famed for her area pubic.
When they asked her its size
She replied in surprise,
‘Are you speaking of square feet, or cubic?‘
Una donna dall'aria cherubica
Era nota per la sua zona pubica.
Quando chiesero l'ampiezza
Rispose con dolcezza
‘Vi interessa il diametro o l'area cubica?‘
10.
Son et lumière
There was a young fellow named Cass
Whose bullocks were made out of brass.
When they tinkled together
They played ‘Stormy Weather'
And lightning shot out of his ass.
C'era un tipo di nome Teodoro
le cui palle eran fatte di oro.
Quando insieme battevano
‘Volare' suonavano
E un fulmine gli usciva dal foro.
